We are happy to let you know that there will be several awards given to presenters during the MSB meeting. For those presenting posters there will be judging throughout the Monday and Tuesday sessions, with finalists invited to give a 3 minute presentation during the Wednesday "poster" session, where the final round of judging will take place. For those preparing a poster for the meeting, have a 2-3 slide presentation ready just in case! Young Scientists who have been selected for oral presentations will be part of a separate competition for the MSB Young Scientist Award! Judging will take place during the oral sessions with the finalists and winner announced on Wednesday. 

For the younger scientists attending the meeting we're pleased to let you know that the ACS Division of Analytical Chemistry encourages you to apply for their Younger Chemists Conference Travel Grants to help defray some of the cost of attending the meeting. We encourage all eligible attendees to apply - note that the Division of Analytical Chemistry considers scientist under 40 to be younger!
